No matter how you look at it, we are struggling in one way or another in this difficult economy. But while each of us has our struggles, we also have our blessings. This is precisely why the agents of Coldwell Banker Real Estate Group (REG) formed the tREG Foundation Fund - to share those blessings with others less fortunate.
There is some confusion, however as to how each and every one of us can help when our fundraiser is an annual golf outing...
MYTH: I am not a golfer so there is no place for me.
Fact: A vital portion of the funds raised each year comes from the dinner auctions and ticket sales. Everyone is invited to join us for the dinner event (you've got to eat anyway)!
Fact: More than half the folks who sign up to golf aren't golfers either!
MYTH: Money is tight right now so I won't be able to contribute.
Fact: There are many ways that each of us can make a contribution. We have over 30 volunteer positions to fill throughout the day and they are a lot of fun! We have split up the schedule into shifts so we can accommodate your needs.
Fact: If every agent donated $10 directly to the fund, we would have approximately $5000.
MYTH: tREG Foundation Fund is Corporate, it doesn't affect me.
Fact: This foundation fund is agent-created and agent-managed. All of the monies in the fund are used for YOUR local causes. Each office has a tREG Foundation fund delegate responsible for receiving their agent requests and presenting them to the grants committee for funding from the tREG Foundation fund.
Fact: If your office doesn't support this one fundraising event, your local causes won't be able to receive its blessings.
